A forum featuring Weakley County candidates for county mayor is scheduled for Thursday, July 11th at 6pm in the Watkins Auditorium at UT Martin.
Candidates Danny Powers and Dale Hutcherson, both Independents and Republican candidate John Robert Freeman will be in attendance.
The forum allows the candidates to tell where they stand on issues pertaining to Weakley County. The three candidates are seeking the open seat left by Jake Bynum who resigned in the middle of his term.
Early voting begins July 12th and ends on the 27th. Election Day is August 1st for the State and Federal Primary and the County General Election.
