The Department of Labor and Workforce Development has announced a record low unemployment rate for Tennessee.
State officials said the jobless rate decreased to three-percent between April and May.
The historic rate is the best jobless number in Tennessee since the Federal Government began tracking the statistic in 1976.
The previous record low was at 3.1 percent in 2023, which held steady for three consecutive months.
