Union City has been announced as a recipient of a Site Development Grant from the state.
Governor Bill Lee and Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart McWhorter announced 15 recipients statewide.
Union City was announced to receive $100,000 for the Northwest Tennessee Regional Industrial Center.
The grants are designed to help communities invest in infrastructure and engineering improvements, along with landing economic development projects and Select Tennessee site certification.
