Obion County’s Trustee presented a plan to County Commissioners on Friday to draw additional interest money.
Trustee Tracey Westbrooks addressed the Commission concerning money from the sale of Obion County General Hospital.(AUDIO)
Ms. Westbrooks explained the new account and the additional interest rate.(AUDIO)
The Trustee said approximately $7-million dollars would be moved into the new account.
Following her request, Commissioners voted unanimously to move the funds, and to have the flexibility over the account without having to await board approval.
