School Board Vice-Chairman Explains Evaluation of Director of Schools

The annual evaluation for the Union City Director of Schools again ended with a positive result.

School board Vice-Chairman Scott Gilliam said Director Wes Kennedy continues to show strong leadership for the system.(AUDIO)

 

Gilliam said the Union City school board chooses to evaluate the position with conversation, instead of using a scoring system.(AUDIO)

 

Director Kennedy was extended a state maximum four year contract, which included a performance bonus of $5,000 and a $950 vehicle allowance.
