Union City police reported the arrest of an individual for stealing a motor vehicle.
54 year old Paul Grainger Hudgins III, of Troy, was taken into custody at the Union City Walmart store.
Police reports said officers had been called to investigate the theft of a 2007 HHR at North Home Street.
30 year old Cory Burnes said the vehicle was taken during the early morning hours last Thursday, and also contained turnout gear from the Obion County Rescue Squad and Rives Fire Department.
A friend of Burnes spotted the vehicle parked at Walmart and notified police.
An officer then viewed store video of the individual driving the car, who was still inside the store.
Hudgins was apprehended and charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
