Union City police recovered a vehicle that was stolen from Hillsboro Street.
Police reports said an officer was dispatched to East View Cemetery, where a 2006 Pontiac Vibe was stuck in a ditch with the key still in the ignition.
After the vehicle was towed from the scene, the officer was notified of the theft from a residence on Hillsboro Street.
78 year old Earlene Virgin said she did not realize the vehicle was gone until leaving for work on Wednesday morning.
Police have no suspect in the vehicle theft at this time.
