Union City’s City Manager said he was proud of the response of local departments following Sunday morning’s severe thunderstorm.
City Manager Johnny McTurner said individuals with several departments took immediate action to assist those who were affected by the damaging winds.(AUDIO)

It is being projected that the damaging winds that moved through Union City were from 60-to-70 miles per hour.
