The Weakley County Sheriff’s office and the Tennessee Highway Patrol are continuing to remind motorist to Click It or Ticket through June 2nd. Sheriff Terry McDade said deputies and patrol officers are focusing on making sure motorist are driving with their seat belt on.
Officers are also focusing on distractive driving meaning not just having a phone in the driver’s hands but other things that may be going on inside the car that would challenge drivers to be in full control of their vehicle.
Sheriff McDade said it’s not just about safety …. it’s the law.
