The Martin Farmers Market had an overflow turnout at its seasonal grand opening this Memorial Day weekend. A number of fresh vegetables, flowers, honey, homemade pies, and many other homemade items were available at the first market.
Mayor Randy Brundige said “it’s been an incredible turnout of local folks and out of towners who love shopping in Martin.”
The mayor went on to say “the City of Martin is pleased to host the Farmers Market and we invite everyone to shop in Martin… it’s quite the crowd we have, from small children and to many seniors, who come to look and shop here in Martin.”
The Martin Farmers Market will be open Wednesday from noon to 4 and Saturday 8 to noon through October 19th in downtown Martin.
