Enhanced Risk of Severe Thunderstorms In Ken-Tenn Area on Sunday

The Storm Predictions Center in Norman, Oklahoma has placed the Ken-Tenn area in an enhanced zone for severe thunderstorms on Sunday.

Forecasters have placed Lake, Obion, Weakley, Dyer and Henry County, along with all of Western Kentucky, in a Level 3 threat for Sunday.

Current forecasts area calling for two rounds of severe thunderstorms, with the greatest threat being in the evening and overnight hours.

Weather Service officials say the threat of severe thunderstorms on Sunday does include the possibility of damaging winds, large hail and tornadoes.

Area residents are urged to have a source to receive possible warnings should they be issued by the National Weather Service.
