Union City police located a vehicle stolen from Cheatham Street.
Police reports said an officer spoke with 28 year old Hannah Sueann Richards, of Union City, who said her 2020 Kia Optima was taken sometime between 10:30 Monday night and 7:30 Tuesday morning.
A surveillance camera showed an individual, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and face mask, get into Ms. Richards vehicle and take a purse, with attempts to the get into other parked vehicles.
The individual then returned to Ms. Richards car and drove away around 1:30 in the morning.
Police later located the vehicle parked on Town and Country Road with damage to the right side.
Police reports said Ms. Richards picked up the stolen vehicle, but the individual involved in the theft has not been identified.
