Flood Watch Issued for Ken-Tenn Area

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for the Ken-Tenn area.

The Flood Watch will go into effect at 7:00 on Thursday evening and will remain in place until Friday evening.

Forecasters say total rainfall amounts of two-to-three inches could fall during the period.

Excessive runoff may result in flooding of creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Counties included in the Flood Watch include Obion, Lake, Weakley, Dyer, Gibson, Carroll and Henry, along with Fulton, Hickman, Graves, Calloway and McCracken in Western Kentucky.
