Westview’s Season came to an end yesterday as they came up short in the Region 7AA championship game against Riverside 9-2 Saturday. In the consolation game that followed they fell to Milan 2-0.
McKenzie claimed the Region 6A Championship with a 7-0 victory over Collinwood.
Dresden’s season came to an end Saturday as they fell in both games of double header action at the Region 7A tournament. In game 1 they dropped a 9-5 decision to Union City, then they lost to Halls in a tight contest by a margin 3-1.
Union City kept their hopes alive to head to the state tournament by winning 2. First it was Dresden, winning for the first time this season against the Lions 9-5, and then they beat Bradford 6-1.
