Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City has been recognized for patient safety.
CEO and Administrator Skipper Bondurant said the hospital has received an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from the Leapfrog Group.
The national watchdog organization recognizes the upholding of standards of patient safety in hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.
Bondurant said the “A” grade is an example of team dedication to providing quality patient care every day.
The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is the only hospital ratings program based exclusively on hospital prevention of medical errors and harm to patients.
