Union City police are seeking the public’s help in locating a Monday morning armed robbery suspect.
Police reports said an armed black male entered the Maverick convenience store, on East Reelfoot Avenue, as an employee was opening for business.
The robber demanded money and a vape cartridge, then left the store through a back door heading north.
The subject was described as between 5’6” to 5’10” tall, of medium build, and wearing all black clothing and a face mask.
The value of the stolen money is undetermined.
Anyone with any information about the robbery, or the suspect, is urged to contact the Union City Police Department or the CrimeStoppers Tip-Line, where a reward of up to $1,000 may be offered.
