Fulton County farmers are back in the fields planting their spring crops.
Agriculture Extension Agent Ben Rudy told Thunderbolt News the planting stage is about normal for this time of spring.
Rudy did say Fulton County is below the USDA state average in corn planting at this time. (AUDIO)
The extension director said there was also some concern about the frost that occurred last week. (AUDIO)
Barring periods of rain, Rudy said he does anticipate more movement by farmers in the next couple of weeks.
