The Tennessee Highway Patrol has announced roadside checkpoints scheduled for the area.
On Monday, Troopers will be conducting a safety belt checkpoint in Lake County.
The checkpoint will be located on State Route 78 starting at 5:00.
The Highway Patrol will also hold a safety belt checkpoint in Obion County on May 3rd, at the intersection of State Route 5 and Garrigan Road.
This checkpoint will start at 3:00 in the afternoon.
On May 4th in Obion County, a sobriety checkpoint has been planned for 9:00 on State Route 431 at the State Route 22 overpass.
Troopers will be checking for those who may be operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
