Union City High School honored their Top-10 academic students in four grades on Monday night.
The 38th annual Top-10 Academic Banquet was held at the Marty Sisco Gymnasium, and featured Kelley Powers as the featured guest speaker.
Powers is a 1997 graduate of Union City High School, and is the co-founder of nationally renowned Final Flight Outfitters with his brothers Jon Ed and Tripp.
Union City High School Principal Jacob Cross emceed Monday’s ceremony, with Director of Schools Wes Kennedy, Union City High School Vice Principal John Graham, and teacher Joanna Wisener reading the names of the honorees and their parents.
Of the senior recipients, nine of the 10 were recognized for the fourth time in as many years.
Five of 10 juniors were honored for the third time, and all 10 students from the sophomore class were repeat recipients.
