City of Fulton Awarded Large Grant for Gas System Upgrades

A crowd of people were on hand Tuesday to hear a large grant award presented to the City of Fulton to upgrade their gas system infrastructure.

A ceremony was held Tuesday in Fulton to present federal funding for infrastructure projects.

During the event at the Pontotoc Center, Robin Taylor, the State Director for Senator Mitch McConnell’s Office, made a major announcement for the City of Fulton.(AUDIO)

 

The funding will allow Fulton to upgrade their 71 year old Natural Gas Pipeline System, with new medium-density polyethylene piping.
