Union City Police Investigate Theft of Cash, Firearm and Notepad from Vehicle

Union City police were called to investigate items stolen from a vehicle.

Police reports said an officer spoke with David Bennett Wall, of Mosswood Drive.

On Monday afternoon, Wall said he parked and locked his truck at the residence.

The following morning, he discovered the rear passenger door and passenger door cracked open.

Police reports said Wall discovered $2,500 in cash missing from the driver’s side door, along with a Glock 48 handgun and a Lenova Notepad in a backpack.

The total value of the theft was listed at $3,660.

The missing handgun was entered into the National Crime Information Center.
