The top academic students at Union City High School will be recognized on Monday night.
The 38th annual Academic Top-10 Banquet will take place to honor freshmen, sophomore, junior and senior students for their accomplishments.

The 45 year old Powers is a 1997 graduate at Union City, who went on to become a World Champion goose caller, farmer and successful businessman.
The Academic Top-10 Banquet will take place Monday night at 6:30 in the high school gymnasium.
