The Obion County Commission again discussed the parking issue at the South Fulton Elementary School.
Commissioner Kenny Mayo recently addressed the danger of vehicles parking on the four lane in front of the school.
Director of Schools Tim Watkins was requested to speak about the parking issue at Monday’s Commission meeting.(AUDIO)

Following the comments of Director Watkins, Commissioner Mayo again requested a safe solution to the school parking.(AUDIO)
Commissioner Danny Jowers made a motion to contact the Department of Transportation with a request to drop the speed limit in the school zone.
The motion passed unanimously, with the Budget Committee to know look into the parking problem in May.
