Two UT-Martin alumni from Union City and Weakley County were recently presented awards.
Union City Main Street Executive Director Katie Graves, and Blake Barnes now of Jackson, were recognized at the Department of Mass Media and Strategic Communications Awards Reception at the Duncan Ballroom.
Ms. Graves is a 2014 UT-Martin graduate, and was honored with the “Outstanding Young Alumni Award”.
Barnes is a 2016 graduate, who was presented the “Distinguished Alumni Award”.
Ms. Graves was presented her award by Dr. Jerald Ogg, with Barnes presented his award by faculty member Dr. Tracy Rutledge.
