Union City High School’s “Health Occupation Students of America” just completed a successful conference in Chattanooga.
School Communications Director Mike Hutchens said the state leadership conference included first place awards for Kinsley Campbell and Danyelle Huffman in First Aid/CPR competition.
Due to their accomplishment, Campbell and Huffman qualified to attend the International Leadership Conference this summer in Houston.
During the HOSA conference, Union City’s Maya Runions also had a fourth place finish in the clinical nursing category, with Adeline Rice placing fifth in dental science.
HOSA is a global student-led organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, the Department of Health and Human Services, and several federal and state agencies.
