Union City High School has selected their delegates for the American Legion Auxiliary Volunteer Girls State.
School Communications Director Mike Hutchens said junior students Addison Kitchen and Edie Rodgers will attend the 78th session at Lipscomb University from May 26th to June 1st.
The Volunteer Girls State is in its 87th year, and is among the nation’s most respected educational programs of government instruction and leadership development for high school students.
Kitchen and Rodgers were selected by the high school administration for their numerous school and community activities, along with their strong academic scores.
