A ceremony was held in Fulton on Tuesday to celebrate the construction of two new homes on Fourth Street.
Officials with Community Ventures, the City of Fulton and Fulton County Government, were on hand to celebrate the beginning of a housing program in the county.
Brenda Weaver, who is the President of Housing and Lending with Community Ventures, said it was a big day for providing individuals a place to live.(AUDIO)
Mark Welch, President of the Fulton County-Hickman County Economic Development Partnership, said the program provides an economic need.(AUDIO)
With the program, plans call for the construction of 100 new homes throughout Fulton County and South Fulton.
