A woman wanted in connection with a pedestrian hit-and-run in Graves County has turned herself in.
Graves County Sheriff Jon Hayden said 37 year old Latoya D. Johnston, of Water Valley, turned herself in Wednesday.
Warrants had been issued for Ms. Johnston for second degree assault, leaving the scene of an accident and driving on a suspended operators license.
Due to the vehicle involved not being insured, it was impounded by the Graves County Sheriff’s Office.
37 year old Jamie Jackson, of Water Valley, was airlifted to an out of state hospital for injuries following the hit-and-run.
Ms. Jackson was in the roadway chasing after a dog when she was struck.
The incident occurred Sunday night north of Water Valley.
