The Dorena-HIckman Ferry is closed due to high winds. Wind near the ferry landing is running about 35 miles per hour out of the south and southeast. That has created hazardous river conditions.
The Dorena-Hickman Ferry plans to resume operation on Thursday morning on the regular summer schedule. On the winter schedule the last run from the Kentucky landing is 6:15 p.m., CDT, with the last run from the Missouri landing at 6:30 p.m.
