Just in time for Spring comes higher prices at the pump.
Triple-A is reporting Tennessee’s average gasoline price has increased two cents to $3.09 a gallon.
The report stated the increase was 11-cents more than last month.
In Union City, gasoline prices have exceeded the state average at most all locations.
Triple-A said the national average was $3.46 a gallon, up .19-cents over last month.
The rising costs to start the Spring season are being blamed on seasonal refinery maintenance and increased driving demand.
