Union City police were contacted to investigate the theft of a utility trailer at Union City Forklift on North Fifth Street.
Police reports said the 18-foot Bear Track aluminum trailer was discovered missing by an employee.
The stolen trailer was valued at just under $10,500.
The report said the trailer was an open utility model, with a 14-inch aluminum wheel and tire mounted on a side rail.
Anyone with any information about the stolen trailer is asked to contact Union City police or their Crimestoppers tip line.
