UT-Martin men’s basketball coach Ryan Ridder has announced he is taking a new head coaching position with Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.
This past season under Ridder, the Skyhawks posted 21 wins, which tied a school record.
The men’s basketball team also claimed the Ohio Valley Conference regular season championship.
During his time at UT-Martin, coach Ridder’s team’s compiled a record of 48-47.
Athletic Director Kurt McGuffin said they will move swiftly to secure a new head coach, who is the right fit for the Skyhawks basketball program.
