Murray State Athletics has received their fifth seven-figure gift this year.
Director of Athletics Nico Yantko announced a $1.4 million dollar gift from the Jim Bob Kevil estate and the former Racer Foundation.
The funding will help the department with capital campaign initiatives to enhance the experience for Racer student-athletes.
Donations to the program have help support nearly $2-million dollars in capital projects, which includes weight room renovation at Roy Stewart Stadium and renovation of the men’s basketball locker room.
