Obion County Mayor Steve Carr said all funding support for the I-69 project is appreciated.
Mayor Carr said the announcement of $10-million dollars, which was secured by Congressman David Kustoff, is a benefit for Obion County.(AUDIO)
Congressman Kustoff said the funding is to be used on the widening of two sections of I-69, also known as the Troy By-Pass.
Mayor Carr also commented on the recently opened section of the I-690 four lane around Union City.(AUDIO)
The Mayor said the next construction project to join with I-155 South will be approximately eight miles.
