Two elementary schools have been honored in the Obion County School System.
The Tennessee Department of Education has announced that Hillcrest Elementary and South Fulton Elementary have been designated as a “Reward School” for the 2022-23 year.
In Tennessee, schools are recognized as a Reward School when they have demonstrate high levels of performance and/or improvement in performance.
A recognized school has an overall school score of 3.1 or higher per federal accountability calculation.
Following the announcement, Commissioner of Education, Lizzette Reynolds, said the designations are a testament of the hard work from educators and district leaders to their students each and every day.
