The South Fulton Lady Red Devils saw their season come to an end Wednesday night at the TSSAA State Basketball Tournament.
Wayne County beat the Lady Red Devils 61-40 in the quarterfinal round of Class-A.
South Fulton trailed 34-27 at halftime, but were held to only 13 second half points.
Anna Gore led the Lady Red Devils with 18 points, followed by Abbi McFarland 8, Maddie Gray 6, Aubree Gore 5 and Katie Barclay 3.
South Fulton shot 32.6-percent from the field, and made 9-of-11 free throws.
The Lady Red Devils concluded their season with a record of (22-9).
