An Obion County Central student will be representing the school at the state level this month.
School Communications Director Lauren Kendall said freshman Carter Ayers was recently named the West Tennessee Regional Runner-Up in the Future Farmers of America Creed Speaking contest.
Ayers will now be one of six students from across Tennessee, who will compete in the FFA State Convention on March 24th-thru-27th.
Carter is the son of Garrett and Rebecca Buchanan and Joel Ayers.
