UT Martin’s Jordan Sears took over in the second half last night as the Skyhawks defeated Tennessee Tech 80-69 last night. Sears tossed in 28 points, seven assists and five rebounds.
With the win, the Skyhawks clinched a 20-win season for only the ninth time in school history. The men are 13-4 in the OVC with Morehead State and Little Rock
The regular season finale is a “White Out” set for tomorrow. Players KK Curry, Issa Muhammad and Desmond Williams will be honored as part of Senior Day festivities prior to tipoff with Tennessee State..
The UT Martin women moved back into a second place tie with a 67-37 win over Tennessee Tech.
Now 14-14 and 11-6 in the OVC the women won their fourth in a row and will close out the regular season tomorrow with Tennessee State women at 1 o’clock.
