A Camden man was arrested on multiple charges after leading police on two pursuits of over 100 miles per hour on Reelfoot Avenue in Union City.

Police reports said 20 year old Adrian Ramirez Zuniga was taken into custody by multiple officers, after finally being stopped at Reelfoot Avenue and Everett Boulevard.

The pursuit started after Zuniga’s vehicle was clocked in excess of 100 miles-per-hour headed west on Reelfoot Avenue from Highway 431.

After refusing to stop for police, Zuniga made it to the west side of the city limits, where he then turned around and headed back east on Reelfoot Avenue.

Police reports said Zuniga passed countless vehicles, some on the wrong side of the roadway, and ran a red light on Reelfoot and Stad Avenue by passing vehicles in the grass.

After being stopped at Reelfoot and Everett Boulevard, Zuniga was forced from the vehicle by two officers, before others arrived to place him into restraints.

He was issued charges that included reckless endangerment, driving on revoked license and resisting arrest.
