Union City police were called to investigate the theft of items from HCI Supply on South First Street.
An officer was called to the store after the theft was captured on video.
A store employee said two white males, and a white female, entered the business and walked around.
Police reports said one of the males went to a shelf that contained Lithium-Ion batteries, and picked up two batteries valued at $600.
The second male also took a battery valued at $50.
After leaving sight of the camera, the three individuals walked out the front door and left in a red, Jeep Liberty four door vehicle.
