A former Union City resident was taken into custody following theft at Walmart, on West Reelfoot Avenue.
Union City police were called to speak with a store security official, who reported five incidents of theft by 29 year old Jamie Lynn Kussman, formerly of High Street.
The total value of items taken was almost $166, which included dog food, odor eliminators, posters and bottled water.
Walmart reports said thefts occurred three times in December and twice in January.
Police reports said officers were able to speak with Ms. Kussman at her new residence in Paducah, and advised of a warrant for her arrest.
She turned herself in to Union City police on Friday on charges of theft.
