Wind Advisory Issued for Ken-Tenn Area

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the Ken-Tenn area.

Forecasters say the advisory will be in effect from 7:00 Tuesday morning until 3:00 on Wednesday morning.

During the period, southwest winds are expected from 20-to-30 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 45 miles per hour.

Tree limbs could be damaged and blown down, which could cause power outages.

Counties in the Wind Advisory include Obion, Lake, Weakley, Dyer, Henry and Gibson, along with Fulton, Hickman, Graves, Calloway and McCracken County in Western Kentucky.
