Union City police investigated an apartment burglary on High School Drive.
Police reports said an officer was flagged down by 26 year old Montel Dickerson, who ran from his apartment during the burglary.
Dickerson told the officer he woke up to see two black males standing beside his bed.
Dickerson said he ran out of the back door, and heard a gunshot as the two subjects left on foot going east on High School Drive.
Police secured the apartment, with Dickerson discovering his iPhone six and charger missing.
