The University of Tennessee Martin has been named the recipient of a $1.5 million dollar Title 3 grant.
The five-year “Strengthening Institutions Grant” will be for teaching and learning initiatives on the Martin campus.
Dr. Jamie Mantooth, the UT-Martin Executive Director for Enrollment Services and Student Engagement, said this was a much needed grant for the university.(AUDIO)
Dr. Mantooth said the funding will create success stories for both instructors and students.(AUDIO)
Dr. Mantooth will serve as the Director of the Title 3 grant, which is only the second time the university has received this type funding.
