A Dresden High School student has been charged with “Threat of School related Mass Violence.” Sheriff Terry McDade said Dresden School Resource Officer Deputy Rob Harrison investigated an incident at the school that a student had made threats to harm other students.
The student responsible for making the threats was removed from the school.
The Weakley County Juvenile Court is handling the case. Sheriff McDade said at no time during the incident were there any acts of violence against students or faculty members and no individuals were placed in harm’s way.
