High school basketball tournaments re-cap:
Greenfield girls defeated South Fulton Saturday night 55 to 36 to win the District 14-A Championship
Union City defeated Gleason 49 to 35 in the consolation game.
Monday, Lake County boys will face South Fulton at six in the consolation game.
Union City boys will play Gleason in the District 14-A Championship at 7:30
The tournament is being held at South Fulton High School.
In the District 14-AA Championship at Dyer
Gibson County girls defeated Westview 54 to 34 for the District 14-AA title.
Trenton defeated Milan in the consolation game 60 to 24.
Thursday Girls Regionals
Westview girls will host to Decatur County Riverside.
Madison Academic will play at Gibson County.
Westview and Gibson County will host their first round games on their home court.
In the District 14-AA Boys tournament at Ripley this Monday night.
Milan will play Westview in the consolation game
Ripley will play Trenton for the championship.
In the District 13-A basketball tournament at Humboldt
Humboldt girls defeated Middleton 49 to 43 in the championship.
Bradford defeated West Carroll girls 48 to 42 in the consolation game.
Monday night District 13-A at Humboldt
Consolation: West Carroll will play Halls boys
Middleton will play Hmboldt for the championship .
Friday Class A Regional’s begin
Gleason girls will play at Humboldt
West Carroll girls will play at Greenfield
Bradford girls will play at South Fulton
Union City will travel to Middleton
The winners of their first game will play at UT Martin in the semi finals
Saturday the Class A Boys Regionals will begin
First round at the higher seed.
