Union City police were called to South Ury Street to investigate a stolen firearm.
Police reports said officers spoke with Alex Martinez, who said he returned home from Memphis to find the gun missing in his home.
Martinez said he left the Glock 22 in a holster on his dresser.
The value of the stolen firearm and holster was listed at $660.
Police entered the stolen gun into the National Crime Information Center.
