High Speed Pursuit Ends With Arrest of Union City Man

A Union City man was arrested on multiple charges following a pursuit that began in Hickman on Tuesday night.

Police reports said 34 year old Patrick Polk was taken into custody in Union City, after eluding Hickman police at speeds of over 100 miles per hour.

Reports said a Hickman officer attempted a traffic stop of Polk leaving the Little General Store, on Seventh Street, when he sped away on Union City Highway.

The high speed pursuit continued until the intersection of Highway 166 and Highway 125, when Union City police were notified.

Union City police took Polk into custody on charges of evading arrest, possession of schedule six drugs, reckless endangerment and arrest for another agency.

Additional charges are pending by the Hickman Police Department.
