The National Football League Hall of Fame has revealed it 2024 class, which includes a former Hollow Rock- Bruceton standout.
39 year old Patrick Willis played all eight NFL seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, after being their first round draft pick in 2007.
Willis started all 16 games in his rookie season, recording 174 tackles and earning the National Football League Defensive Rookie of the Year.
He went on to start in all 112 games he played, recording 1,225 tackles, eight interceptions and five fumble recoveries.
As a Senior at Ole Miss, Willis received the Butkas Award and Jack Lambert Award as the nation’s top college linebacker.
At Hollow Rock-Bruceton, Willis was two times named All-State and the West Tennessee Player of the Year.
Willis was also the first high school football player in Tennessee history to be nominated for Mr. Football as a lineman and back in the same season.
