A search of almost one month came to an end on Thursday, with the recovery of the body of 62 year old Charles Baldridge, of Troy.
Baldridge was reported missing on January 9th after failing to report to work at the Obion County Road Department.
On January 27th, his truck was located in a flooded ditch on Walker-Tanner Road in Union City.
On Thursday, four members of the Obion County Sheriff’s Office planned a search and rescue effort in advance of the forecast for rain.
That search included Deputy Caleb Hayden in a boat with Chief Deputy Matt Woods.(AUDIO)

The body of Charles Baldridge is now being sent to Nashville for autopsy.
